Description: Dating can sometimes be challenging or confusing — especially if you’re neurodivergent. Whether you're navigating first dates, wondering how to improve your communication skills, or trying to make sense of mixed signals, you're not alone.

Join Kate Woodward, neurodivergent-focused relationship coach and matchmaker in the Washington, D.C. metro area, for a free 60-minute Zoom Q&A. Ask questions, share what’s on your mind, or just listen in. This is a supportive, judgment-free space to talk about the real challenges of dating while neurodivergent.

All are welcome — neurodivergent or not. Whether you’re ND yourself, dating someone who is, or simply interested in learning more about emotionally healthy relationships, this space is for you.

  • Holding Space: Virtual Discussion

Date: Sundays, 3pm to 4pm (resuming June 22nd)

    Host: Kate Woodward

Cost: $5 to reserve your spot.

Description: Feeling like you have to hold it all together? You don’t have to anymore. Join us for an informal, loosely-structured virtual discussion that Neurodivergent District holds a couple times a month designed for neurodivergent folks and/or those who feel lonely or without community. This is a nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are.

    How It Works:

Attendees who would like to share (no pressure if you want to simply listen) get a 1-2 minute “how am I doing” check-in — no interruptions, no judgment. The point isn’t to fix anyone — it’s to connect with others and feel a sense of community. Come as you are. Leave feeling a little lighter.

Zoom Link: Will be emailed out a few minutes before the start to all RSVPs.

  • Karaoke at Hawk 'n' Dove

Date: Friday, June 13 and July 4th from 6:30pm to 9pm (Karaoke begins at 7pm and ends at 10pm)

Host: Kate Woodward & Patrick Rohan

Location: Hawk ‘n’ Dove, Capitol Hill, DC

Hawk ‘n’ Dove is just a short walk from the Capitol South metro station. We’ll kick off the night with drinks and food around 6:30 PM (optional group table reservation), then head into karaoke mode from 7pm on. Whether you’re ready to belt out your favorite power ballad or cheer others on, this is a great chance to meet new people in a welcoming, low-pressure environment.

The great thing about this venue is that they offer anyone who participates in karaoke discounts on food and/or drink.

Please do RSVP to let us know you’re coming — especially if you’d like to be included in the group table reservation. All are welcome, whether you’re a first-time singer or a karaoke regular.
