  • Trivia at Lost Dog Cafe

    Date: Tuesdays, 7pm (please arrive by 6:40pm)

    Location: Lost Dog Cafe located at 1690 Anderson Rd in McLean, Virginia.

    Description: Join us for trivia at Lost Dog Cafe every Tuesday evening in October. Trivia begins at 7pm, but please consider joining earlier, around 6:40, to reserve seating which can be limited. The nearest metro is McLean.

    Donation: Neurodivergent District strives to compensate members that volunteer to host our events. Please consider a donation to @katewoodwardcm for hosting. Please specify "donation to trivia host" in the description of your payment.

  • Jackbox Online Social

    Date: Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm

    Host: Olivia. (one of our wonderful members!)

    Cost: Free

    Description: Join us for a virtual game night. Jackbox is a fun accessible online party game with many laughs and some trivia questions. We'll be playing the following Jackbox Party Pack games through Zoom: Trivia Murder Party 2, Quiplash 3, Hilo, Tee Ko, Bracketeering (played in no particular order). Attend by joining our Zoom meeting, typing jackbox.tv into your phone browser (safari or chrome), writing in the code to play.

  • Dating & Relationships: Free Q&A

    Location: Virtual (Zoom). 100 attendees is the max.

    Description: Dating can sometimes be challenging or confusing — especially if you’re neurodivergent. Whether you're navigating first dates, wondering how to improve your communication skills, or trying to make sense of mixed signals, you're not alone.

    Join Kate Inez Harrington, neurodivergent-focused relationship coach and matchmaker in the Washington, D.C. metro area, for a free 60-minute Zoom Q&A. Ask questions, share what’s on your mind, or just listen in. This is a supportive, judgment-free space to talk about the real challenges of dating while neurodivergent.

    All are welcome — neurodivergent or not. Whether you’re ND yourself, dating someone who is, or simply interested in learning more about emotionally healthy relationships, this space is for you.

  • Halloween Karaoke at Honor Brewery Fairfax

    Date: October 31st, 8:30pm (karaoke starts at 9pm)

    Description: Whether you’re ready to belt out your favorite power ballad or cheer others on, this is a great chance to meet new people in a welcoming, low-pressure environment.

    Please do RSVP to let us know you’re coming — especially if you’d like to be included in the group table reservation. All are welcome, whether you’re a first-time singer or a karaoke regular.

    Description: Whether you're navigating friendships, dating, communication skills, or trying to make sense of mixed signals from loved ones or coworkers, you're not alone.

    Join Kate Inez Harrington of Harrington Matchmaking, JaLynn Prince of Madison House Autism Foundation, and Jeremy & Ilana Hamburgh of My Best Social Life. Ask questions, share what’s on your mind, or just listen in. This is a supportive, judgment-free space to talk about the real challenges of navigating relationships while neurodivergent.

  • Friendsgiving Rooftop Potluck

    Date: Sunday, November 16th at 4pm

    Host: Kate Harrington

    Where: Flats 8300 – Penthouse Rooftop
    8300 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814
    (the nearest Metro Station is Medical Center NIH).

    Description: Please bring an entree or side to share. Kate will provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as desserts, cups, utensils, napkins, and plates. If you would not like to bring anything, please donate $10 to offset the penthouse rental fee and refreshment costs to @katewoodwardcm on Venmo. Please note we will not issue refunds if you cancel last minute.

  • We understand that plans change. Please contact us to let us know if you can no longer attend one of our gatherings.

  • We understand that some of our members may be struggling financially or currently unemployed. We still want you to be able to attend. Please contact us (ideally, at least a week in advance of the meetup) and let us know which paid event you would like to attend. Donations permitting, we will do our best to make arrangements so that you can join us without incurring a cost.

  • We expect everyone to show respect and acceptance of other attendees, even if others may present or behave differently than expected or desired. Of course, harassment, racism, and disrespectful behavior of any kind are not tolerated. If you experience anything nearing this, please contact us immediately.
